School City of Hammond

School City of Hammond partnered with 1st Maker Space to build makerspaces in their middle and high schools. This secondary focus allows students to explore career pathways, develop hands-on skills, and engage in real-world problem solving through innovative, project-based learning. These makerspaces are equipped with industry-relevant tools and technologies, empowering students to design, prototype, and create while gaining exposure to careers in engineering, manufacturing, technology, and the trades.
