Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County
The Launching Center at the Boys and Girls Club in Bedford, Indiana, is the largest educationally-focused makerspace in Indiana. The Launching Center was created from the old Boys Club Gymnasium, and this renovated space now contains different zones to divide this ample space accordingly. The Launching Center includes a makerspace, robotics zone, 3D Printing zone, e-sports zone, and a dedicated area for industry exhibits. It also contains fabrication equipment, including a 100 W. Laser Cutter and four powerful 3D Printers. Custom cabinetry provides plenty of storage space for materials and projects in progress.
