The Skip + Alex Lange Innovation Center at Camp Belzer in Indianapolis, Indiana is the first of its kind space for the Boy Scouts of America Crossroads Council. The Innovation Center was created from the old fieldhouse, and this renovated space now contains different zones to divide this large space accordingly. The Innovation Center contains a makerspace and STEM lab side-by-side. The Innovation Center also includes a rock wall (not completed by 1st Maker Space) and other fun adventure spaces. The makerspace includes the Mobile Maker Tables as well as fabrication equipment, including a Glowforge Plus Laser Cutter and Adventurer 4 3D Printers. The STEM lab features HON Whiteboard Tables, a TeacherGeek Maker Cart 2.0, and a Padcaster Studio Kit. This community space will be opening for local scout troup visits well as other community events in Winter 2022.
