from $10.98

Harness the power of the wind in this popular environmental engineering project by TeacherGeek.Kids will really construct an example Wind Lift to raise and lower a bucket, cycling through the engineering & design process to develop better solutions to lift heavier loads, or increase speed. Blades can be made from raiding the recycling bin, 3-D printer creations or other found materials - your imagination is the limit. Optional labs cover energy, blade angle and blade area. TeacherGeek tool sets are required for the construction of the base, but bases can be reused year-after-year. Lesson plans available for grades 3-8.
